We are now looking for an accounting assistant for our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. This is initially a consulting assignment for 12 months via Unik Resurs, with a very good possibility of extension.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an accounting assistant at Siemens Energy, you will work with ongoing financial flows within the Real Estate department and have close collaboration with both the business and central finance. The role is broad and varied with significant personal responsibility.

Your main tasks:

• Ensure correct coding and payment of supplier invoices
• Ongoing reconciliations between invoices and associated agreements
• Support monthly closing through documentation and reconciliations
• Review income statements and balance sheets and follow up on discrepancies
• Support the purchasing process according to applicable guidelines
• Administer purchase requests and purchase orders
• Participate in improvement work and development of financial routines

Your Profile

We believe that you:

• Have a high school education in economics or equivalent
• Have at least 2-3 years of experience working in a finance department
• Are meticulous, structured, and used to working independently
• Have good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with SAP
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in purchasing
• Experience in working with contracts
